Mechanical Laboratories

1	Central Workshop	Equipped with all types of machine tools, facilities for fitting works, welding, pattern making, etc.
2	Heat Power Engg. Laboratory	Diesel Engine Test Rig, Petrol Engine Test Rig, Facilities for determination of Calorific value of fuel, Flash Pint and Fire Point of Fuel.
3	Strength of Materials	40T capacity, manual/computerized Universal Testing machine, Brinell Harness Tester, Rockwell Harness Tester, Impact Testing machine. Fatigue machine, Torsion and Spring Testing machine.
4	Manufacturing Process Technology Laboratory	Equipped with all facilities of moulding, testing and casting.
5	Computer Aided Graphics Laboratory	Equipped with 35 Computers ( in 1:1 ratio) with CORE 2 DUO processor and 2 GB RAM compatible with different software.
6	Measurement and Instrumentation Laboratories	Profile Projector (Model No. METX 801A), Height Guage (Model No HS-12) and Vision Microscope (Model No-VMM21)

Other Laboratories required as per University syllabus will be developed time to time as the Mechanical Engineering students go their higher Semesters. One of our priority areas is to develop the department as a centre of excellence in collaboration with industry and developed industry-institute partnership for future consultancy work for emerging challenges.
